Your trip, step by step
- 1
At home
You send photos and the medical form on WhatsApp. A partner surgeon reviews them and you receive a written quote: procedure, surgeon, facility, hotel nights and transfers.
- 2
Video calls
You go through everything on a free video call with your assistant. Then, if you like, a video call with the surgeon for €30, credited against the price if you book.
- 3
Book your flight
Once the dates are set, you book the flight yourself (usually from Edinburgh Airport): flights are never included, so you choose the time and fare. Fly out the day before surgery.
- 4
Arrival in Istanbul
We meet you at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen; the transfer to your hotel is included. Pre-operative check and tests with the surgeon.
- 5
Surgery and check-ups
Surgery at a partner facility, then the nights included in your package for check-ups and dressing changes. Your assistant is with you every day.
- 6
Flying home to Edinburgh
Transfer to the airport and your flight home the day after your last included night. After that, follow-ups continue remotely on WhatsApp, with photos.
Get your free quote
Leave your name and WhatsApp number: your assistant will message you, ask for photos and send a written quote with surgery, hotel and transfers. Free and no obligation.
How long you stay and what it costs
These are the nights included in the package: book your flight home to Edinburgh for the day after the last one. “From” prices in euros, including surgery, facility, the Deniz hotel, transfers and support. Flights are not included.
What to pack
- A valid passport – UK and Irish citizens need one for Türkiye; check the current government travel advice.
- Loose clothes that open at the front: zip-up tops and shirts, nothing you pull over your head.
- Your regular medication in its original packaging.
- Recent test results, if the surgeon asked for them.
- A plug adapter: Türkiye uses two-pin European sockets (type F), not UK plugs.
Your flight home
- Book for the day after your last included night, on a flexible fare.
- Pick a nonstop flight even if it costs a little more: one fewer change matters after surgery.
- After body surgery, add a checked bag so you do not have to lift anything heavy.
- Keep your medication and the surgeon’s discharge letter in your hand luggage.
Questions about travelling from Edinburgh
How long is the flight from Edinburgh to Istanbul?
About 4 hours 15 minutes nonstop, with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul Airport or Pegasus to Sabiha Gökçen, year-round.
Is the flight included in the package?
No, flights are never included: you book your own, so you choose the time, airline and fare. The package covers surgery, the facility, nights at one of our three partner hotels (Deniz, Antwell or Ibis Zeytinburnu), transfers and support.
Which Istanbul airport will I land at?
Turkish Airlines, British Airways and Wizz Air land at Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side; Pegasus and AJet at Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side. The hotel transfer is included from both.
When should I book my flight home?
For the day after the last night included in your package: those nights cover the time the surgeon wants to see you in Istanbul. We recommend a flexible fare in case the surgeon asks for an extra day.
Can I travel from Edinburgh with a companion?
Yes, and we recommend it for body procedures. Tell your assistant when you ask for your quote so we book the hotel and transfers accordingly.
Do I pay in pounds or euros?
Our packages are priced and invoiced in euros. You book your flight yourself, in whatever currency the airline charges.
