A London private clinic, Cadogan Clinic, lists top surgery from £7,995 (about €9,515). In Italy, the magazine Lo Sbuffo (2021) puts a private mastectomy at around €7,000 on average. Medical readiness: what the surgeon asks you to bring

Partner surgeons follow the WPATH Standards of Care, version 8 (SOC8). For adults, SOC8 recommends one assessment by a qualified health professional confirming marked and sustained gender incongruence and capacity to consent, and it does not make testosterone a requirement for chest surgery. You bring your own documentation: Estetica and its partners do not issue psychiatric letters, prescribe hormone therapy or handle legal gender recognition. The surgeon tells you in the video call exactly which letter and records they need.

The partner surgeon confirms any pre-operative requirements, such as stopping smoking or bringing previous breast imaging, in the video call and in your written quote.

How to compare offers without being misled

Compare four things on every quote. First, the technique: keyhole and double incision are different operations, and a low price for one is not a price for the other. Second, nights: count hospital nights and hotel nights separately. Third, liposuction: some clinics charge chest-side contouring as an extra procedure. Fourth, follow-up: ask who sees you if a problem appears after you fly home, and in which language.

The first video call with the patient assistant is free. After you receive the offer, a video call with the partner surgeon costs €30, and that €30 is credited against the surgery when you book.
