Here is what five countries actually charge in September 2026, where the numbers come from, and what the gap is really made of.

What a gastric sleeve costs in five countries

Turkey is the low anchor. A patient paying the US average out of pocket spends roughly €12,800 more than the Istanbul package price - enough to cover the procedure four times over.

Germany is quieter about pricing, because most sleeves there are funded by statutory insurance after a documented conservative-treatment pathway. Why the gap is this wide

Build the real total, not the headline. Return flights from most European capitals to Istanbul run €150-€400 depending on season and how late you book. Budget two or three contingency nights.
