The NHS route is narrow. NHS Cheshire and Merseyside's commissioning policy states that arm lifts, thigh lifts and buttock lifts are not routinely commissioned and are funded only in exceptional circumstances through an Individual Funding Request. On those averages, a body lift plus an arm lift costs about €12,366 in Germany, compared with €7,970 or more in Istanbul.

Istanbul vs Milano and Roma: what an Italian patient actually pays

Italy costs more than Germany on both stages, and the gap with Istanbul is still large. Istituto Estetico Italiano publishes an arm lift from €7,800 in Milan and from €6,600 in Rome, and sells the compression garment (€150) and unlimited follow-up visits (€300) as add-ons. Estheticon's Italian database averages €8,467 for a body lift across 44 specialists and clinics. On MioDottore, Milan body lift listings start from €6,000 at Chirurgia Plastica Milano and from €10,000 at Spatium Clinica Brera.

Put together, a body lift at the €8,467 Italian average plus a Milan arm lift at €7,800 comes to €16,267, compared with €7,970 or more in Istanbul: a difference of €8,297 before the Italian add-ons. Flights from Milano Malpensa, Bergamo or Roma Fiumicino to Istanbul take about three hours.
