Hollywood Smile: from €3,350 in Istanbul vs €7,200+ in Rome and €8,400+ in Milan

A Hollywood smile with 12 E.max veneers costs from €3,350 in Istanbul through Estetica Istanbul, and that price includes seven hotel nights. In Italy, the same 12 teeth priced at published per-tooth rates for ceramic veneers cost €7,200 to €18,000 in Rome and from €8,400 in Milan, before any accommodation. Flights to Istanbul are not included in the package. The gap is real, but it only holds when both quotes describe the same treatment, so this guide itemises what each price covers.

The numbers side by side

Estetica Istanbul is a medical-tourism agency, not a dental clinic. The treatment is carried out by a partner dental clinic in Istanbul. The published package is 12 E.max veneers, digital smile design, seven nights at the Deniz partner hotel, VIP airport transfers, a translator and the clinic fees, from €3,350.

Italian clinics usually publish a price per tooth. Biodental Roma's 2026 price table lists ceramic veneers at €600 to €1,500 per tooth, so twelve teeth cost €7,200 to €18,000. Ortodonzia Invisibile Milano lists ceramic veneers from €700 each, which puts twelve teeth from €8,400. Clinica Crocetta in Milan describes the Italian range for ceramic veneers as a few hundred euros up to about €1,000 per tooth.

At the lowest Rome figure, the difference is €3,850 for twelve teeth. At the Milan starting price it is €5,050. Both figures are before the flight: from Milano MXP or Roma FCO to Istanbul IST takes about three hours direct, and flights from Milano Bergamo BGY land at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW).

Hollywood smile in Istanbul vs Milano and Rome: what each price includes

The Istanbul figure is a package. It covers the 12 E.max veneers, digital smile design, seven hotel nights, VIP airport transfers, a translator and the clinic fees listed on the Hollywood Smile package in Istanbul page. International flights are not included.

The Italian figures are treatment prices. A per-tooth list price normally covers the veneer itself. Ask an Italian clinic in writing whether the first visit, X-rays, the smile design or mock-up, temporary veneers and follow-up checks are billed on top. You pay no hotel at home, and you can attend appointments without a travel deadline.

The Rome and Milan lists quote ceramic veneers in general; the Istanbul package names E.max, a lithium disilicate ceramic. Ask the Italian clinic which ceramic its price refers to before you compare. What is billed extra in Istanbul

The package has clear limits. Extra nights at the Deniz hotel cost €70 per night. Upgrading to the Antwell hotel costs €110 per night. More than 12 veneers, or crowns instead of veneers, need an individual quote; a 16- or 20-tooth plan is not priced at the 12-veneer rate.

Dental work found at the examination is also outside the package. Decay, gum disease or a failing old root-canal filling must be treated before cosmetic work, and that treatment is quoted separately. Replacing unrelated old crowns, future maintenance and any revision are covered only if the written terms say so.

Veneers or crowns: make both quotes say the same thing

Veneers and crowns are different restorations. The American Dental Association's patient guide describes veneers as thin shells bonded to the front surface of a tooth, while crowns cover the tooth more extensively. A quote that says “Hollywood smile” without listing each tooth as a veneer or a crown cannot be compared with anything.

Ask both clinics for a tooth-by-tooth plan: which teeth are treated, which material is used and which teeth stay natural. Then compare totals. If the Istanbul plan becomes 16 crowns while the Italian plan stays at 12 veneers, the numbers above no longer apply.

Time: one trip versus several visits at home

The partner clinic schedules a Hollywood smile across three to five working days: consultation and digital design first, tooth preparation and temporary veneers next, final cementation at the end. The seven hotel nights leave a margin for a fit or bite adjustment before you fly home.

In Milan or Rome you sleep at home and can go back for adjustments whenever needed. If you grind your teeth, have several old restorations or expect a complex plan, easy access to the treating dentist may be worth part of the price difference.

Is the cheaper option the right one?

How booking works

Start with a free video call with the patient assistant and send photographs or a recent panoramic X-ray. You then receive a written plan and price. The deposit is €500. If you cancel at least 14 days before treatment and before the flight is booked, it is refunded; otherwise it becomes a 12-month credit.

Bring your Italian quote to the call. If both plans list the same teeth and the same material, the comparison is fair. For twelve veneers it currently reads €3,350 in Istanbul including seven hotel nights, against €7,200 to €18,000 in Rome and from €8,400 in Milan for the veneers alone.
