Akın İnalöz

Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon

Op. Dr. Akın İnalöz is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery based in Kadıköy, Istanbul, and a partner surgeon of Estetica Istanbul. His work with our international patients centres on the body and breast: Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) with liposuction, liposuction and body contouring, breast augmentation and breast lift, tummy tuck, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Training

Dr. İnalöz studied medicine at the Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in Erzurum, graduating as a Doctor of Medicine in 2010. He then completed his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same university's department of plastic surgery (2011–2016).

Residency in plastic surgery in Turkey is a full surgical specialisation of about five years, ending in a specialist examination and thesis. It covers reconstructive surgery after trauma, burns and tumour removal as well as aesthetic surgery. That reconstructive grounding matters in aesthetic work: it is where a surgeon learns how blood supply, skin and soft tissue behave, which is what keeps results safe and natural-looking.

Clinical career

After qualifying as a specialist he worked as a plastic surgeon in hospital practice, including Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital and the private Aksaray İnova Hospital, before moving his practice to Istanbul. Today he runs his own clinic on Bağdat Caddesi in Kadıköy and operates in accredited partner hospitals. For Estetica Istanbul patients, surgery takes place at Central Hospital Etiler.

He has more than ten years of experience in plastic surgery, counting his specialist training, and has worked with patients from Turkey and across Europe.

Research

During his training Dr. İnalöz took part in clinical research in reconstructive surgery of the face. He is a co-author of “Chimeric Reverse Temporal Muscle and Pericranial Flap for Double-Layer Closure of Deep Facial Defects”, published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2018; 76(1): 199–205), and contributed as an author to the plastic surgery special issue of Türkiye Klinikleri, a Turkish peer-reviewed medical journal.

Most of the patients we bring to Dr. İnalöz come for body and breast surgery, and BBL with liposuction is the procedure we book with him most often. Breast augmentation and breast lift follow, along with tummy tuck and liposuction, which can be combined into a mommy makeover in a single trip when the surgeon judges it safe for you. Implant choice, the amount of fat transferred and whether procedures can be combined are decided case by case at consultation, not from a menu.

Each patient's case is reviewed before travel: you send photos and a medical form, Dr. İnalöz assesses whether the procedure is suitable and safe for you, and you receive a written plan and an all-inclusive price. If a different procedure, or no surgery at all, would serve you better, you will be told so before you book anything.

Meeting him before you book

You can speak with Dr. İnalöz before deciding anything. A surgeon video call costs €30 and the fee is credited to your surgery if you book. He also visits Italy every two to three months for in-person consultations in Milan and Rome; ask your coordinator for the next dates.
